ACS712 20A Hall Effect AC/DC Current Sensor Module
The ACS712 20A Hall Effect Current Sensor Module is designed to measure both AC and DC current without requiring a shunt resistor in the signal path. Current flowing through the module's copper conductor generates a magnetic field that is detected by the Hall-effect sensor, producing an analog voltage proportional to the measured current. Zbotic The 20A version measures approximately −20A to +20A and has a typical sensitivity of 100mV/A. At zero current, the output is approximately half the supply voltage (around 2.5V with a 5V supply). Zbotic It is useful for robotics, motor-current monitoring, battery projects, power monitoring, over-current detection and Arduino/ESP32 projects.
